SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – On Saturday, just after 12:00pm, Greene County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were called to the area of I-44 and State Highway PP for a well-being check involving a car. When deputies arrived, they found two people dead inside the car.
Officials say the car was stopped on the offramp when 24 year old Kalen Barclay from Ozark shot and killed 27 year old Gabriella Broglio from Joplin and then took his own life. Authorities say the two had been in a relationship for several months.
