Joplin Workshops fills positions, hires people with disabilities

JOPLIN, Mo. – As businesses struggle to find workers, Joplin Workshops Inc. is hiring people with disabilities to fill their positions.

KOAM spoke to Eric Tune, one worker who says he’s glad to be back to work, making a difference.

“It feels real good, being able to put my heart in, help out the community. You know, we build cardboard, we put together parts for Lazy Boy. People can still have their paper towels and paper plates and toilet paper, paper products.”

Joplin Workshops is a non-profit located at 520 Michigan Avenue in Joplin, Missouri.
