Latest updated blog: Plenty of thunderstorms! -Doug

Good Friday night!  We made it to the weekend!  I hope you had a great week and a fantastic, somewhat wet weekend!  First off severe threats.

Saturday: Low severe threat for evening and night

Sunday:  Low afternoon severe threat

Monday:  No threat

Tuesday: Very low threat

Wednesday:  Very low threat

Thursday:  Low severe threat

Friday:  Low severe threat

Saturday (22nd):  Going with no threat

Sunday (23rd):  Low to moderate threat

Monday (24th):  Moderate severe threat.

Thunderstorms back in here late tonight.

Some of these guys can pack a punch, but I don’t expect them to be severe.  Mainly winds gusting up to 40 or 50 mph with some pea size hail.  Lets move to about 6AM.

Some heavy rains as a lot of areas could get 1/2-1″ of rain with this batch working through.  Let continue to mid morning.

I think most of us will have at least scattered storms through the morning hours as this batch continues to develop over us.  Again, I don’t expect these to be severe.

I think by the afternoon, most of the storms will be out of here and we dry up a bit.  I do expect still a few isolated PM storms, but not the periods like we will have during the morning hours.  By evening, scattered thunderstorms will develop once again.

The ones that do get going could be a little stronger or low grade severe.  But, most of the storms Saturday night stay just north of us.

Scattered PM storms again on Sunday.

Some of these as well could be strong to low grade severe.  But overall, I don’t see a big severe threat until late next weekend.  All the threats most of this week are on the lower side.  They all need to be watched as they could go up, but we don’t have an alarming severe threat in the near future.  Long range forecast below.

Next Friday and Saturday: Warm with thunderstorms continue with a low threat both days.

May 23rd-May 29th: A repeat week.  Chances for thunderstorms almost everyday.  I think Wednesday and Thursday look pretty good, but chances Sunday through Tuesday with at least a low threat.  Severe threat returns as we head into the holiday weekend.  However, temperatures look great, mainly in the 80s.

May 30th-June 5th: A stormy holiday with a severe threat.  Warm with thunderstorm sticking around on Tuesday.  Cooling down a bit for the middle of the week and dry.  Warming up late in the week with thunderstorm chances once again.

June 6th-June 12th: Mainly a warm week with thunderstorms on Monday and Tuesday.  Severe threat returns for Saturday.

June 13th-19th:  A warm week with thunderstorms Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
