Mildred “Millie” Irene Burton, 88, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Medicalodges in Pittsburg.
She was born December 29, 1932 in Williams, OK the daughter of Charles and Beaulah (Faulkner) Gleason.

On August 6, 1949, Millie married the love of her life, Haskell O. Burton in Van Buren, AR, he resides at the home.
She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was an active member of the church and she use to teach Sunday school.

Millie was a friend to everyone and fostered several children throughout the years. She was an avid gardener, caretaker of any stray animal and enjoyed cooking.

Survivors include, her husband, son; Roger (Sandy) Burton of Pittsburg, KS, three daughters; Nema (Rod) Glidewell of Columbia, MO, Janie (Bob) Spencer of Pittsburg, KS, Martha Burton and lifelong friend Sheila Pelzl of Weir, KS, brother; Ronald (Michelle) Gleason of Cushing, OK, Connie (Barry) Coweta, OK, twelve grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son; Arnie Burton, brother; Donald Gleason, sister; Maxine Barlow and granddaughter; Heather Spencer.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS, with Pastor Tony Lalli, officiating. Interment will follow at the Crocker Cemetery, Pittsburg, KS.

The family will receive friends prior to the service at 10 am at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 522 S. Broadway Pittsburg, KS.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Crawford County Church of Christ. These may be left at or mailed to Bath-Naylor Funeral Home. Friends may leave condolences online at www.bathnaylor.com.
