Kaitlyn Nicole Kibel, 28 and Jordan DeWayne Kibel 10, of Quapaw, Oklahoma passed from this life on Friday, April 23, 2021 following a motor vehicle accident.

Kaitlyn was born February 4, 1993 to Stoney Dean Kibel and Shelly Lyn Myers. Kaitlyn graduated from Quapaw High School with the class of 2010. She was currently working at Freeman Health Systems as a receptionist. Kaitlyn adored her family and her children and was always their biggest cheerleader.

Jordan Dewayne Kibel was born December 15, 2010 to Kaitlyn Nicole Kibel in Miami, OK. He was currently the third grade. Jordan loved playing football, basketball, and baseball. During the summer he enjoyed swimming and fishing. He enjoyed all of these activities with his best friend and brother, Brantley Dennis Wagens.

Kaitlyn and Jordan are survived by Shelly Lyn Myers and husband Roger of Galena, KS; Stoney Dean Kibel of Joplin, MO; Brantley Dennis Wagens; Abby Porter; Judy and Earl Kibel; Nancy and Leonard Preddy; Dakota and Dalton Kibel; Shellie and Darin Myers; Austin Wagens of Pennsylvania.

They are preceded in death by Dennis Myers; Irvin and Maxine Myers; and Dorothy and Homer Bolin.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel. Burial will follow in the Columbus City Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Pallbearers for the service are Johnny Goodwin, Jacob Porter, Dalton Kibel, Dennis King, Abby Porter, Danny Kibel, Darin Myers, and Brandon Myers.
