Staying a bit active on the weekly planner

The weekly planner will have us going from a brief taste of winter to a return of spring through the rest of the week. After a cold front works through this evening, that will send highs back into the lower 40s for Tuesday afternoon. While temperatures sit in the middle 30s for a good portion of Tuesday, though, that will allow our next upper-level wave to bring periods of snow into the region resulting in minor amounts on grassy and elevated surfaces. Once we get past Tuesday’s system, we’ll head back to partly sunny skies on Wednesday. After a cold start with lows in the middle 20s, we’ll have highs bouncing back into the middle 50s. The rest of the planner has upper 50s on Thursday, 60s through the weekend and a jump to 80° for next Monday. The next system on the way wants to bring scattered showers for Thursday afternoon, rain and t-storms continuing through Friday and ending as some Saturday morning scattered showers. We’ll stay partly sunny and dry for next Sunday and Monday before severe weather chances try to return on Tuesday the 27th.
