Severe Potential Shifts Eastward; Fire Weather Threats Continue

Isolated severe storms will be possible from the Deep South to the Ohio Valley as a cold front shifts slowly eastward. Strong winds and very dry conditions will keep fire weather threats critical in the Southwest, Inter-mountain West, and into the Plains. A powerful Alaska storm will bring high winds, bitter cold, and snow and blowing snow across much of western and southern Alaska.
