Noel, Duda and Kimbrough sign at Webb City High School

WEBB CITY, Mo. – Wednesday was a big day for a trio of Webb City High School senior student-athletes.

Shane Noel, Jaydee Duda and Sierra Kimbrough signed Wednesday afternoon to continue their careers at the college level. Kimbrough (Bethany) and Duda (Crowder) will continue their basketball careers in college, while Shane Noel signs to play baseball for Travis Lallemand and the Crowder College Roughriders.

“They really made me feel like I was home over there,” Noel says about visiting Crowder, “They were awesome to my family and made me pull the trigger. Coach Lallemand really made an impact when we went there. He treated us really well.”

“It feels like a big stepping stone,” Kimbrough says of signing with Bethany basketball, “I’m not done with basketball, but I’m done with high school basketball. I’m excited to go play collegiately and get out of my comfort zone a little bit. We have a good group of freshmen coming in. Hopefully we can all chip in, play a little bit and give our best.”

“I’ve known the Crowder basketball coach for a long time,” Duda says of joining the Crowder women’s basketball program, “Coach (Lance) Robbins’ sister is the head coach at Crowder. Getting to know her the last few years made it easier to make the decision, knowing I can trust her. My goal is to just get a lot of playing time early and show that I’m the player that I know I am.”
