February 2021 has come to a close as we wrapped up our weekend on Sunday. Looking back at the month, we started out on a good note with a high of 41 on Monday before we went into the 60s on the 3rd. While the Super Bowl weekend started out okay, we saw temperatures dip below freezing as we dealt with freezing drizzle from Super Bowl Sunday through that Wednesday the 10th. Even if the freezing drizzle moved on, we stayed cold with highs in the teens as we headed into the weekend. The week of the 14th had snow to start the week as highs only topped out in the middle single digits. The 14th through the 16th was the coldest of the month as Arctic air moved in. After we dropped to -15 Tuesday morning, we were able to bounce back into the middle teens. After one more round of snow on the 17th, we saw highs climb back into the 20s for Wednesday and Thursday before we started to climb back above freezing that weekend. The rest of the month had more bearable temperatures and that definitely includes the high of 73 on the 23rd. All told, we had 19 days with highs below normal while only 9 were above normal.
