Missouri Southern is growing a new learning opportunity for students

JOPLIN, Mo. – Missouri Southern State University is getting a beautiful new addition to campus.

It’s not there yet, it’s just dirt. But from that dirt will grow a new wildflower field. Once fully grown, it’ll be more aesthetically pleasing.

It’ll also be used of student research. Officials say it will also provide a source of sustenance for the bees in the university’s bee hives.
