Delories May Miller of Quapaw, OK passed from this life Friday, February 19, 2021 at her home. She was 82.
Delories was born September 18, 1938 in Seneca, MO to Melvin and Clara (Rowe) Crain. She had lived in Quapaw since 2005 moving from Miami, OK.
She had worked as a seamstress for Glenn Berry Garment Manufacturing in Commerce, OK. She attended First Baptist Church in Quapaw, OK and was a member of Millenium Good Sam’s Club.
Delories was preceded in death by her first husband Jim Johnston in 1991 and by her second husband Gerald Miller in 2019. She was also preceded by 1 son, Doug Johnston, her parents, 2 brothers, Richard Crain and Paul Cary and 1 sister, Judy Vanatta.
Delories is survived by 1 son, Kenny Johnston and his wife Raven of Broken Arrow, OK, 2 daughters, Joyce Clouse of Broken Arrow, OK and Kathy Wachman and her husband Bob of Quapaw, OK, 4 brothers, Tommy Crain of Fredonia, KS, Butch Crain of Tahlequah, OK, Lloyd Crain of Greeley, CO and Monte Crain of Kansas City, MO, 1 sister, Barbara Miller of Wyandotte, OK, 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Grace Church in Miami, OK with Rev. Phil Shyers officiating. Interment will be in Baxter Springs Cemetery, Baxter Springs, KS. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, OK. The family requests those attending the service to please wear a mask.
