JOPLIN, Mo. – Authorities say what was called in as a disturbance with shots fired in Joplin led to the SWAT Team being called and multiple subjects being detained.

Captain Will Davis with the Joplin Police Department says after the disturbance call came in the SWAT Team was called to the scene to assist officers. Captain Davis says multiple subjects were eventually detained and several had warrants for their arrest. No one was found on scene with any gunshot injuries. The case is still being investigated.
