Marvin E. Sherwood, 78, Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest February 16, 2021 at his home after a long illness.

Marvin Eugene Sherwood was born April 18, 1942 in Quapaw, OK, the son of Virgil and Pauline (Strickland) Sherwood. Marvin had lived in the area most all of his life. He enjoyed scuba diving, horseback riding, motorcycles and starting to restore a 1941 Ford pickup. Marvin loved his family and especially he loved being a grandpa. He always had a big heart and helped many people throughout his life. Marvin worked for 31 plus years at the former Farmers Chemical in Galena, KS. Marvin was of the Full Gospel Faith.

Survivors include two sons, Virgil Sherwood and wife Tammy, Seneca, MO and Earl Sherwood and wife Deanna, Pea Ridge, AR; 5 grandchildren, Krystal Sherwood, Joshua Sherwood, Kristen Sherwood, Zack Kellogg and Trenton Kellogg; 5 great-grandchildren, Alexandrea Sherwood, Bailee Sherwood, Alexus Sherwood, Madison Hansen, Kaden Kellogg; one brother, Floyd Sherwood and wife Sandy, Anderson, MO; one sister, Carolyn Sargent, Joplin, MO and a host of extended family and friends.

Marvin was preceded in death by the love of his life Rachel Sherwood, his parents, one sister, Melva Sherwood, one brother Jess Sherwood and brother-in-law Tim Sargent.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 pm, Thursday, February 18, 2021 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 19, 2021 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery.
