A Joplin boy wanted to provide aid to some homeless animals. His solution, a lemonade stand. Eleven-year-old Austin Baker sold lemonade in front of his home for a fund-raiser. The lemonade and materials for the stand were donated by friends and family. All the proceeds went straight to the Joplin Humane Society. A lot of people have rallied to the cause. The lemonade stand was open for three hours and raised 800 dollars. This is the second year Austin has done that.
