Tom Magliozzi, part of the brother duo who hosted NPR’s “Car Talk,” died Monday, but he leaves a lasting legacy. Magliozzi, 77, was remembered as being extrememly happy and funny. David Corn, Washington editor of Mother Jones, tweeted, “Who knew carburetors could be so funny?” “Car Talk” started as a Boston program in 1977; NPR made the show national in 1987.
