PITTSBURG, Kan. — In one of the longest sessions of public input and commission discussion in several years, the Pittsburg City Commission on Tuesday night approved accepting a $656,000 grant from the Kansas Department of Transportation to build a hike-bike trail that has generated much controversy for several months.
