McCune residents launch initiatives to save their town after school closes

Duane Davis, 58, remembers when McCune’s Main Street was full of active businesses. “We had a cabinet shop, a gas station, a couple of grocery stores, a meat locker, an active Masonic Lodge,” he said last week at the Coffee Cup Cafe, one of just a few remaining businesses on Main Street.
