Neosho area residents turned out Thursday night for an open house forum put on by the Missouri Department of Transportation to learn more about an effort to upgrade the roads surrounding U.S. Highway 60. Construction is to begin as soon as next spring on a $6.9 million effort including a new intersection on Highway 60 east of Kodiak Road, new outer roads on both sides of the highway, and improvements at other intersections along the way.
