Neosho City Council agrees to pay $5,000 to property owner for water damage

The Neosho City Council has agreed to help compensate a local business owner for damage to his property after a city waterline broke. Dave Crocker, who owns a building at 425 Fairground Road, claimed that a broken curb allowed the water to flow onto his property after the waterline break on Jan. 15, and that the water damaged the building, according to a claim he filed with the city’s insurance company.
