Gayfeather Prairie in Vernon County will be the site of the annual BioBlitz in June. Across the country, nature lovers and professional biologists team up at BioBlitzes to identify as many species as possible in an area over the course of 24 hours. The Missouri Prairie Foundation’s version will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 7, and end the afternoon of Sunday, June 8.
