Sunday marks the beginning of a summer-long adventure for Webb City graduate James Welborn. Sunday morning, he will launch a canoe into Lake Itasca in Minnesota, the headwaters of the Mississippi River, and begin a 2,320-mile trip that will take more than three months to complete.
