A public hearing on a proposal to create a tax-increment financing district in the area of the Silver Creek Galleria is to be reconvened today. There was a mistake in specifying a boundary line between Joplin and the village of Leawood on documents in the TIF proposal that is pending with the Joplin Tax Increment Finance Commission. That caused the public hearing, which started April 29, to be continued today.
