This morning, Downtown Joplin Alliance was made aware of a likely mail scam related to Third Thursday. The mailer was sent locally from someone claiming to be the Joplin Third Thursday Contest Committee, however their return address is from Washington DC. The letter congratulates local residents for coming to Third Thursday claiming that they have been entered to win a father/daughter vacation.
