Carthage voters pass school bond issue

Voters in the Carthage School District on Tuesday approved a proposal to issue bonds for the construction of a new school and the renovation of another. A majority of voters in the Neosho School District supported a proposal to construct a new junior high school there, but it was not enough to meet the required four-sevenths, or 57.1 percent, majority.
