USD 249 Frontenac will receive a $147,000 grant to purchase track surfacing for a track at the Frontenac High School.The funding is part of $484,000 in Waste Tire Recycling Grants awarded across the state of Kansas by the Department of Health and Environment Bureau of Waste Management.The grants are funded through a 25-cent tax paid on the purchase of new tires.
