With Girl Scout cookie sales in full swing, area Girl Scouts have begun signing up for their summer sessions at Camp Mintahama, said Lisa Nelson, a troop leader in Carl Junction. The board of directors of Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland in November approved a plan by Friends of Camp Mintahama for the camp’s continued operation. The board reversed a June decision to divest the camp property after the 2015 camping season.
