A Jasper County judge has granted a 66-year-old Kansas City man probation in an Internet predator sting case. Circuit Judge Gayle Crane assessed Dwight D. Edwards four years on a conviction for sexual misconduct with a child at a hearing Monday in Jasper County Circuit Court, but she suspended execution of the sentence and placed the defendant on probation instead for five years.
