Millions of Americans will turn to Intuit TurboTax this year to file their income tax returns. Those wanting to turn used clothing charitable donations into tax deductions will use TurboTax’s “ItsDeductible” program, which guides users through the deduction process. And each time they do, they will go through a process developed by a 1975 accounting graduate of Pittsburg State University, William R. Lewis.
