Documents sought to answer questions posed by report

City Attorney Brian Head said Thursday that the Joplin City Council was not obligated to give public notice that it would consider firing former City Manager Mark Rohr at a meeting Tuesday night. The agenda for the meeting did not list any items pertaining to personnel action. It listed a vote to go into closed session pertaining to legal action or confidential communication between the council and its attorneys. It also listed hearing the public report of the special investigator, attorney Tom Loraine of Osage Beach.
