The Clyde R. Burdick Post of the American Legion in Neosho has filed a lawsuit against the city in Newton County Circuit Court, alleging that the city has failed to transfer ownership of a city building to the post as agreed. Also named as defendants are Mayor Richard Davidson, City Clerk Nora Houdyshell and City Manager Troy Royer. The suit was filed Thursday.
